I'm Giovani Cordioli, a Brazilian photographer based in Rio de Janeiro.
I enjoy searching for decisive moments and capturing these spontaneous events.
During the past years, I have been chasing these moments in the most varied themes that interest me, developing a portfolio that includes images of beaches, landscapes, streets, sports and more.
In addition to the main archive from Rio, I have photographed on travel destinations like Atacama Desert (Chile), Barbados, Cuba, Fernando de Noronha (Brazil), Galápagos (Ecuador), Lençóis Maranhenses (Brazil), Salar de Uyuni (Bolívia), among others.
Because of this capacity for anticipation and keen eyesight, I have received awards and honorable mentions in a number of competitions, including: The Nature Conservancy’s 2022 Global Photo Contest, The Nature Conservancy 2019 Photo Contest, The Alfred Fried Photography Award 2016, CBRE Urban the Photographer of the Year 2016 / NY, Metro Journal Photo Challenge 2014, The National Geographic (2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019) and others. It's also been published in The National Geographic, social media, books, magazines and became a contributor to Getty Images as well.
In 2021 I started to research the Crypto movement and decided to drop my Genesis Collection with photos featured on The National Geographic (Brazil and Cuba). It comprised 1/1 photo editions with animation and sound effects. Since then, I've been focusing on developing my photography career into the NFT and supporting other artists into the community.
