My name is Yuri, I was born in Moscow but moved to Tokyo three years ago. I'm 28 years old now. My dream is to become a manga artist. I want my work to reach people's minds and hearts. At the same time, I take a lot of pictures. I've been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. I've always loved getting the perfect shot, taking hundreds of shots to get one good one and sitting for hours to get it perfect. Unfortunately, I've never had a camera, so I always use my phone for that, which makes me feel very inferior to professional photographers. Unfortunately I've had huge mental health problems in recent years - severe depression, derealisation, ADHD. All of which undermine my life on a daily basis and prevent me from developing creatively. In many ways, to raise money for treatment and to distract myself from the emotional pain, I try to devote myself more to photography, to reflect my inner feelings and experiences in it, to pass them on to people. Unfortunately, it's hard to be successful with so little experience, but I do my best and hope to come out of the darkness one day. I also do illustration and design.
