lacabezaenlasnubes is Fran Rodríguez. He was born in Torrelavega (Cantabria, northern Spain) and now lives in Barcelona. Before that he lived in Madrid.

His work is inspired by his early fondness on surrealism and psychedelia. The "normal" perception of things has long ceased to interest him. He firmly believes that what we perceive through our senses is only the tip of the iceberg.

In the last few years he has focused in creating more personal projects, as well as creating artworks for music bands such as Tame Impala, Weezer, Twin Shadow, Dorian, Viva Suecia, Toundra or Fuel Fandango.
